DRACO HYDRA S4: The Aircraft-Graded Aluminium Bumper Officially Licensed by DUCATI

6^th June ,2013 ,DRACO DESIGN Inc. is proud to announce the release of special edition of DUCATI by DRACOdesign bumper. DRACOdesign, winners of the 2012 Reddot Design Award and iF Design Award (Computex d&I) now introduce a product dedicated to the “rosse of Bologna”. “We love the passion of the team that brings high caliber of design and engineering to this unique version,” said Alex Yin, DRACOdesign’s COO. The first “DUCATI by DRACOdesign” product is an aluminum based bumper for Samsung Galaxy S4, code name, HYDRA.

The creation of HYDRA is a combination of DRACO’s signature curve line design with DUCATI elements. The aerodynamic aluminum body of HYDRA comes in 3 colors which are red, silver and black, with the ergonomic and unibody design of the side bars and buttons in black and consisting of polycarbonate & aluminum. The aluminum DUCATI shield situated on the back of the smart phone portrays the identity and spirit of DUCATI.

The use of curve design and high precision crafting on aircraft grade aluminum, makes Draco HYDRA S4 of the most seamless and artistic case for the Galaxy S4. Not only it presents a perfect solution for protection, it also serves as a means to distinguish one phone from the rest. The communication device can no longer be just a functional device, but a fashion statement with a design style & recognition. DRACO HYDRA S4 is precisely designed with consideration of antenna position to minimize radio interference.Top and bottom section of the DRACO HYDRA S4 is ported out to fully utilize the antenna with no interference.

The DRACO HYDRA S4 features premium quality shock absorbing silicon pads to maximize the protection and fit of the phone. Top and bottom section of the DRACO HYDRA S4 is ported out to fully utilize the antenna with no interference. The side edge detail shows off the superior quality of raw aluminum. The screw heads are now inserted on the side to experience a cleaner design profile and elegantly designed aluminum volume key and mute key enhances the premium experience even further.
